How to: Collapse and expand outline.
Solution:
In 'Outline' view, use the 'Collapse Selection' and 'Expand Selection' toolbar buttons on the 'Outlining' toolbar, to collapse and expand sections of the outline or the entire outline.
1) Make sure the presentation is in 'Outline' view by selecting 'Outline' from the 'View' menu.

a) Select the slide or slides to expand.

b) Click 'Expand Selection' on the 'Outlining' toolbar. (The selected slides expand to include the paragraph text.)
